The Village Hostel

The Village Hostel is the first hostel in Dorado, Puerto Rico, a beach municipality with a rich cultural offer, stunning natural sites and all the amenities needed to have a great time outside of the city of San Juan, but yet just a few minutes away from it. We’re not only offering a place to sleep, but a whole experience that will make your vacation unforgettable. It’s for that reason that The Village Hostel is much more than a hostel… it’s your homey village in Puerto Rico!

FACILITIES
The hostel is very homey, clean, functional and comfortable. It has plenty of space for guests. Our facilities were designed for the access and accommodation of handicap guests.

COMFORT
We offer orthopedic mattresses, breakfast, free 24/7 coffee and tea. We have free Wi-Fi, a work area, hammocks, and a stunning view to the La Plata River.

COMMUNITY
Our name, The Village Hostel, includes the word village that shows our main interest, create community among the people who stay with us. It is also our goal to create bridges to facilitate interaction between visitors and people from the community.

ADVENTURE
Dorado is a perfect place to have a great time! Among the places of interests are the Museum Casa del Rey, Sala de Exposiciones del Plata, the Distinguished Doradeños Plaza, the Juan Boria Theater, La Plata River, The Ojo del Buey Park and all the stunning sites and beaches. Sardinera, Kikita and El Unico are other beaches frequented by surfers.

CULTURE
The best thing about Dorado is that, although it is not far from San Juan, it allows visitors to experience a more local, organic and realistic perspective of Puerto Rico, its rhythm and its people. Dorado is a very active municipality and has a great cultural, artistic, sporting and gastronomic offer.
