In addition the very central area offers many services practically next door: supermarkets, bars, shops, restaurants, equipped beaches 5 minutes walk away and the bus station and the departure of ferries to Portovenere, the islands, the Cinque Terre and Portofino behind the corner.

Tips and activities
The house is easily accessible by car from the highways in about 10 minutes. The nearest train station is 9 km away in La Spezia and is well connected by frequent buses to Lerici that stop in the main square, few meters from the apartment. The nearest airport is 65 Km away in Pisa and it is easily accessible by public transports in about an hour and half or by car in about 45 minutes. Other airports such as in Genoa, Florence, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa and Bergamo Orio al Serio are well connected by highways and trains from La Spezia.

Lerici is situated at the eastern end of the Golfo dei Poeti (“Gulf of Poets”) and is dominated by the imposing castle of San Giorgio. The village has ancient origins and still retains its original medieval structure with narrow alleys. The main attraction of this area are the sea and the nature which, between Lerici, San Terenzo, Fiascherino and Tellaro, alternates rocky areas with free and private, fully-equipped beaches. Lerici is also the point where boats arrive and depart for Portovenere, the Cinque Terre and, during the summer, Portofino. Sporting activities are many and available all year round : sailing, with the prestigious School of Santa Teresa, diving, wind surfing as well as hiking, mountain-biking, tennis and golf. The beaches of Marina di Massa and Carrara, then Versilia and Forte dei Marmi with numerous nightclubs frequented by celebrities, are a few tens of minutes by car. Places to visit in the area include the town of Sarzana (7 km), the archaeological site of Luni (15 km), the famous white marble quarries of Carrara in the Apuan Alps (15 km) and La Spezia. In addition, important art cities such as Genova (100 Km), Pisa (60 Km), Firenze (150 Km), Lucca (60 Km) and many others are easily reachable with highways or by train.
