If you’re looking for a holiday apartment in the center of Paris, which is quiet and comfortable – this is it! This large and spacious apartment offers high ceilings and an over sized living room to really spread out. This is a grand old building, with huge wooden entry doors and an inside staircase that has been declared a historical monument.

This is a large 110 m2 (about 1180 ft2) two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with air-conditioning in a great location in Paris. Located on the 1st European floor (2nd US) with an elevator, it makes it the perfect choice for guests looking for a great apartment with plenty of room. The apartment is situated on the courtyard, which means a very quiet stay for you.

As you enter the apartment, you’ll walk into a light and bright entry which opens to the dining area with seating for up to 8 guests. With 4 over sized floor to ceiling windows that overlook the courtyard, it makes a charming place to dine or just sit and relax with a glass of wine. Step down 2 stairs to the open living area and you’ll find that the apartment is furnished with upscale contemporary furniture, including Roche Bobois sofas, Mies van de Rohe chairs and coffee table, original paintings, Travertine floors, and Oriental carpets.

Just down the hallway, you’ll find the kitchen is a conventional French style with newer appliances and stocked with place settings for eight or more guests. By French standards, this is quite a large kitchen where you’ll find everything you’ll need to prepare a meal using some of the fresh local produce found nearby. There’s a full stove top, oven, microwave, large refrigerator/freezer and a dishwasher. A combination washer/dryer completes the kitchen layout.

Continuing down the hallway you’ll find a convenient WC for easy access to the living areas, and then the master bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. Here you’ll find a queen size bed for 2 guests, a comfy chair to rest after a long day out and plenty of closet space. The marble bathroom has both a bathtub, a separate rain fall shower and a large vanity with sink. There’s a window in the bedroom which looks out to a small service area on the back of building.

The second bedroom is located just off the living room area and is partitioned by Japanese style sliding ‘Shoji’ doors, which open completely during day to make it a nice sitting area as well. Here you’ll find a queen sized sofa bed and another en suite bathroom. With recessed lighting and the bold colors, this bedroom has a modern feel while still offering the comforts of home. The en-suite bathroom was completely remodeled in 2014 and includes a large shower, WC, another large vanity sink, all done with beautiful tile and fixtures.

With bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment and each with its own full bath, this apartment is the ideal set up for 2 couples traveling together.

The location is the very heart of the Marais near Pompidou and Les Halles, with several metro lines available, so you’re just a short ride away from all of the city that awaits you. The Chatelet RER is a direct line from both of the airports as well as Gare du Nord for those traveling on the Eurostar. Notre Dame only about 5 minutes and the Louvre about 10 minutes. What’s not to love??
