The space

Three comfortable rooms accommodates a maximum of 6 people. This comes with two bathrooms; one en suite with bath, shower, basin and toilet and the second bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. Main bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd bedroom a double bed and 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. A fully equipped kitchen with filter and Nespresso coffee makers, glass top hob and oven, automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. A spacious granite top workspace when you in the mood to cook! The dining room has a 6 seater table and chairs and leads into an open plan comfortable lounge with SmartTV. Through glass sliding doors and out onto a spacious balcony for sunny days and an internal patio set up for gas barbecue and patio furniture, where you would still be able to enjoy the seaview through floor to ceiling panoramic windows. Fibre WiFi, DSTV, DVD player with games and Netflix are available for your entertainment. The Strand is a popular tourist coastal town, where the warmer Indian ocean is ideal for bathing and surfing. The beach stretches for miles and the promenade is ideal for long walks and runs. Scenic drives along the coastline and excursions to the Somerset West, Stellenbosch and Franshhoek winelands are all within easy access. Day trips can be arranged to experience the culinary delights of food and wine which the Western Cape is renowned for. Hiking and zip lining are within an hours proximity to the Strand. This should be booked in advance during the peak season.

Any excursions and day trips to winelands or hiking and canopy zip lining can be arranged by host at an extra charge. Zip lining is very popular all year round but particularly busy over the periods November to January and require booking well in advance.
