We are in Sirolo, Pearl of the Adriatic: a lovely medieval village nestled in the greenery of the Conero Park and overlooking the beautiful beaches of the Riviera, awarded with the Blue Flag since 1994, with the 4 Sails of Legambiente and again this year with the Spiga Green from FEE and Confagricoltura..
Our apartment is located on the first floor of a two-family house, with an independent entrance and in a strategic position away from traffic.
Just 400 meters from the Sirolo square and 250 meters from the center of Numana, the latter can be reached via a panoramic road limited to traffic; both towns are accessible on foot in a few minutes without moving the car.
The area is served by extra-urban buses to reach Ancona and by shuttle buses to the beautiful beaches of Sirolo with a stop 50 meters from the house, but they can be reached with a walk through the woods.
About 5 minutes away is the stop for the free shuttle buses to the beaches of Numana and Marcelli, furthermore many establishments in Sirolo provide a home service included with the rental of an umbrella and sunbed.
In the small square adjacent to the house there is a large free car park with a charging point for electric cars and a stall selling fresh fruit and vegetables, water, local wine and various other items.
At the tourist port it is possible to rent boats and dinghies without requiring a nautical license for trips along the coast in complete autonomy or choose boats with a driver.
The “Conero Ferrymen” make the connection to the beautiful Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle and take panoramic tours at sunset to the Bay of Portonovo while enjoying delicious fish aperitifs. Those who want to enjoy the coast, discover the Due Sorelle beach, the Spiaggia dei Gabbiani, la Vela and Portonovo, can venture out with canoes and SUPs; to discover the wonders of the seabed you can rely on diving experts.
For bike lovers it is possible to take guided excursions on MBK or electric bikes among the beauty of the Monte Conero paths while admiring the suggestive views.
The farmhouses in the area, in addition to offering local dishes, offer the possibility of horseback riding along the Conero paths.
Also worth mentioning is the “Conero Golf Club”, the only 18-hole golf course in the Marche that develops within the Park, a one-of-a-kind natural oasis.
