ríncipe Real is a chique and trendy area with its own vibe. There are lots of enchanting little shops, cafe’s and romantic parks and gardens. The neighbourhood is situated very close to the heart of Lisbon yet it feels distinct and considerably calmer. Just a short walk down hill and you can find the lively Bairro Alto (particularly famed for its night life) and Chiado considered to be the heart of Lisbon. On the walk down hill towards the heart of Lisbon you will come across the spectacular vantage point of São Pedro de Alcantra where the views across the city to the castle up on the hill.

Within walking distance of the apartment it is possible to catch public transport to travel across the city and beyond.

The metro stations Rato or Baixo Chaido are both easily within walking distance and the Cais de Sodré train station in downtown Lisbon, also within walking distance, will take you out along to the coast and beach at Cascais.
