Olhos de Agua is a quaint fishing village, 5km to the east of Albufeira, and about the same distance to Vilamoura. Backed by fragrant pine forests, Olhos de Agua is Albufeira’s greener neighbour. With its winds ideal for windsurfing, the long Praia da Falesia beach never gets overcrowded and you can also visit the ‘Eye of the Water’, a freshwater spring exposed among the rocks at low tide. The main street runs down to the beach where fishermen launch their boats each day, and the catch finds its way to the excellent local restaurants and quite a few bars. It’s a quaint little place, typically Portuguese fishing village.

The apartment is perfectly situated in Olhos de Agua and close to the beach and restaurants.

If your lucky enough to be in the apartment in August there is a Sardine Festival that is held in the harbour every August.

If you fancy a day of shopping why not visit Algarve Shopping this is a great shopping mall to browse around especially if you need a break from the sun!

A whole variety of shops, so something for everyone. There are plenty of clothes shops, Upstairs you will find the food court which has a whole variety to choose from. There is plenty of parking both surrounding the mall and in the car park underneath (much cooler in the summer months) just remember where you parked and where you walked into the shops as there are many entrances from both car parks into the mall.

You could happily waste an hour or 5 in this shopping mall!!!
